Some Fact And Figures About The Lexus IS 250C by Danny Green
For the last few decades, Lexus has been producing great automobiles and setting great trends for other manufacturing companies. Lexus is differentiated from others in the market due to its matchless designs and sophisticated features. In every new model of Lexus, there is something new for people that can capture their attention straight away. Though Lexus is an expensive brand, but the money spent on a unique automobile is never a waste since you would get a lifetime experience of comfort. A new addition from Lexus is Lexus IS 250c, which has captured the eyes of car lovers straightaway due to its elegance and perfection.
There has been lot of talk about the new Lexus IS 250c. Some people believe that there is nothing new in this model, and it is a mere copy of the previous Lexus model. However, this is not entirely true as it has so many distinguished features, which make it a perfect choice for any car lover. Let us have a look at some of the new features that are added to this luxury convertible.
Lexus manufactures the IS 250 at both the Tahara and Kyushu plants in Japan. With the IS F being produced only at Tahara, it is sensible that Lexus has settled to focus on IS C manufacturing at the Kyushu plant in Fukuoka, Japan.
In the interior, Lexus has improved the climate control system so that it gets hot when the roof is down, while a 12-speaker Mark Levinson sound system would work perfectly to lessen the wind noise. There is a plenty of space too; the IS 250C can accommodate four passengers having adequate space from the roof as it folds efficiently. The short appearing tail permits it to have 10.8 cubic feet of storage space when the lid is up, and 2.36 cubic feet when the lid is down.
Lexus IS 250c is more spacious than you would image. You can very easily sit due to spacious entrance, and front seat adjustment with rear seats is trouble-free as they can be folded. The boot capacity can be high or lower according to the roof placement. Its highest capacity is 583 litres and minimum is 235 litres.
The roof is made up of thin aluminium and collapses very smoothly because of three piece roof distribution. As this is a three part roof, it should take more time to open and close, but the efficiency can be seen as it takes only twenty seconds to accomplish this. It is superbly soft and smoothly placed and can be used by a single push.
The car control and grip is magnificent due to the electric power steering, robust framework and multi link deferment. The standard 17-inch wheels also provide great convenience for handling and controlling.
The car has already been tested by Euro and US NCAP for collision control. It has got the highest ranking in the collision testing. The safety features are just more advanced than of IS Sedan as it offer twin-chamber passenger frontage airbags.
The Lexus IS 250c is a superb car, offering all the features of previous Sedans and additionally some great new added features in the interior and exterior sections. The car has already won many hearts and is ready to compete with its aggressive rivals.
