We understand the struggle when evaluating a possible new camera, that is why we want to talk more about the Pentax K5 in some detail. You will also love the 14 stops that have been designed into the Pentax K5 DSLR. That is something you do not frequently experience, and we like that about the K5. A professional photographer may feel a little differently about the matter, but we are speaking about the rest. It actually would be difficult, we think to not be able to find something to like about the K5. Those images shot at a reduced ISO have been favorably reviewed by some users. The old and standard JPEG format is still available with the K5 and probably because many like them. Yet, we do realize that JPEGs are not attractive for more advanced photographers, so there are other files and formats available. The clear trend for digital photography is technological development, and the Pentax K5 is a perfect example of that. Constant research and integration of breakthroughs in the tech field are all embraced by Pentax. They seem to have made a greater effort to provide more processing and programming power with the K5. This is evident in their enhanced image processing engine which is merely a software algorithm. What that provides for you are much better resolution and ability to grab the photos you want.
Other than Pentax, Digital SLR camera from Nikon and Canon are as well highly recommended by expert photographer.
